The WYBO Controller is a cutting-edge brushless DC (BLDC) motor control system powered by ODrive drivers, designed specifically for simulation games.

WYBO Controller lets you:
- Configure your ODrive drivers with ease
- Run your axis with performance, precision and security

WYBO Controller connects to your motion software (simhub, flyPT Mover, simtools, etc.) through ethernet or wifi.
It pilots your ODrives axis through USB.

This package contains only the license.

Maximum Performance - Assisted Configuration - Integrated Security

No more headaches

Easy Configuration

The WYBOSimu Controller offers a Web UI-assisted configuration.

Simply input your motor, encoder, and actuator properties, and we will automagically generate and push the ODrive configuration for you.

Configuring an ODrive takes just 5 minutes.

Extreme Sensations

Maximum Performance

We have fine-tuned and tested all available parameters in ODrive, including the hidden ones, to ensure peak performance and stability.

  • 4ms latency:  WYBO Controller combines the ODrive native protocol with UDP real-time communication to achieve this impressive latency.
  • Motion smoothness: Automatic adjustment to network jitter and handle of real-time parallel positions distribution across the ODrives.

In Command

Real-Time Control & Feedback

The modern Web-UI lets you adjust parameters in real time and provides detailed feedback on your actuators, including position, voltage, intensity, and more.

Big buttons let you run, pause, or e-stop the movement, as well as adjust travel, reactivity, or the spike filter.

Active Security

The WYBO Controller offers a range of security mechanisms:

  • Automatic homing procedure, without physical end-stops, ensures the actuator remains within its physical limits.
  • Runaway Prevention activated through the firmware
  • Real-time adjustable Spike Filter
  • Active safeguard ensures that if any error is detected, the entire system shuts down, preventing damage to the rig.
  • E-Stop: freeze the system by hitting a button
  • Internal security algorithms

Simple yet Effective

The Raspberry Pi is undoubtedly an excellent platform for DIY projects. The WYBOSimu controller is compatible with all versions from v2 onwards.

Just plug your ODrives into the USB ports, connect your PC via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and you're all set to drive!

It's that straightforward.

Compatibility

ODrive-based driver

The WYBO Controller interfaces with ODrive-based drivers.
Currently, it has only been tested with ODrive 3.6 (1 or 2 axis).

Testing on the S1 and Pro models is planned.

We recommend using original ODrive or MKS XDrive.

ODESC works but the encoder must be capped to 4096 CPR.

Software

The WYBO Controller requires a motion software to function. It is compatible with software such as Simtools, FlyPT Mover or SimHub, using a UDP connection for operation.

Homing & End Stop

The WYBO Controller does not require a physical end stop.
The software detects the limits using intensity peaks.

Incremental Encoder

Currently, the WYBO Controller supports only incremental encoders with or without an index (z-signal).

AMT102-V is the best choice so far.

Hardware

The WYBO Controller requires installation on a Raspberry Pi, with a minimum of Version 2.

Simulator

The WYBO Controller is compatible with all DOFS simulators and can manage communication with up to 9 motors at the same time.

In summary, you just need a Raspberry Pi, a motion software, and your ODrive simulator! Enjoy.
